How do you get funded?
All of our services are free to the community. Therefore, we rely heavily on donations, fundraising events, grants and contracts with foundations, corporations and government.
How many people do you serve in a year?
On average, we serve approximately 3,000 people each year.
Who can receive help from the Lighthouse?
Anyone within our community who asks for assistance can receive assistance. All communities served including Lincoln, Sheridan, Newcastle, Penryn, Loomis and North Rocklin = Placer County.
Is it true that you only serve children?
No, we serve adults and children alike.
Is it true that you only serve the Latino people in the community?
No. The Lighthouse serves any nationality, but all of our services are offered in both English and Spanish due to a large Latino population residing in the Lincoln/Sheridan area.
